PROVISIONING AND CRUISE PLANNING

This page covers some of the planning, purchasing, and stowage of many of the spare parts, gear, water, fuel, and provisions for our extended cruise later this summer.  Our provisioning and preparation efforts are designed to not only allow us the means to repair most issues that may arise, but also to be able to remain anchored in more remote areas for longer without the need for a shoreside provisioning run.

I spent much of the spring and early summer preparing things for the trip, including obtaining spare parts, reorganizing storage areas, and inventorying the lockers and creating storage plans so we could find things later. I also made list after list covering desired purchases of gear, food, and other supplies.

As we approached the departure date, I became increasingly antsy.  Enough preparations...let's go cruising!
